I would also suggest - skip dessert at whatever restaurant you go to, and instead walk down to Burdick's (right down the street from ART, on Brattle) and get some amazing hot chocolate (or have it iced, if it's a hot night). I'd also recommend the mocha or the spicy chocolate. (I know there's also a Burdick's in NYC - but if you've never tried it, it would be a lovely cap to your evening in Boston.) I've never had their cakes/pastries, which seem overpriced to me even if they're good - but I think the hot chocolate is worth it!
