Broadway.com recently interviewed the remaining 8 newsboys from the original cast of ''Newsies.'' That Disney show has been practically selling out for the past two months, and yet, it's closing Aug. 24. What a shame. Seems like it could've run longer. Has any other Broadway show been made from a Hollywood flop musical and scored Tonys and run for more than 1,000 performances? Oh, well, they'll finish strong. And they've got a ''Stop the Presses: Newsboys of New York Rally'' on Aug. 14 at 54 Below.
