No, I just felt the cutesy choreography during some of the songs didn't work.

I liked the theater scenes and the actors in them. This isn't like The Bridges of Madison County where the added family scenes seemed liked padding.

Two of the strong numbers -- at the end of Act One and in the pub in Act Two really add to the delight of the show.
