James Corden TV gig?

There are unconfirmed reports (see below) that James Corden is taking over for Craig Ferguson as host of The Late Show on CBS.

Can't help but wonder what this means with regard to the Forum revival. Doesn't seem possible to do both. Was the revival being built around Corden (so this would kill it) or would they proceed with another Pseudolus?

Only rumors of nederlander after love letters. The tv may have been in the works for awhile.

I think it would be a mistake to bring the forum revival without a bonafide stage comedian and there are few of those,

Maybe he already knew it wasn't going to happen. He would have been great, and/but probably would have ad-libbed more than Nathan Lane.
