Book--roadshow the fall of film musicals in the 1960s

I'm about half way through this interesting book. I never knew about release of movies being exclusive to a theater with higher price assigned seating and souvenir programs and could play for months or years like sound of music. It's a nice mix if mining broadway material and stars for movie industry and the success and failure of these movies.
