Wow. Well, the articles are clear about it being Broadway's first Cinderella... not ever performing the show, just on Broadway. Fallon and his writers didn't invent the news item. And I disagree about the joke... I think it was a smart and funny way to address it. Come on, the Prince taking the shoe around because he doesn't know how to describe the girl he's looking for as black without sounding racist? That's very clever.
