You obviously haven't caught enough of Jimmy Fallon. And to assess his skills on the basis of one monologue is not very fair.

Personally, I think his writing, material, and skits have brought a breath of fresh air to late night television.

His choice of moving the show from the West to East coasts, I feel, was inspired. He often features stars of Broadway and highlights the shows.

I don't expect you to agree with me, and I am certainly not the last word on talk show success. I guess the old adage "Different strokes for different folks" applies here, too....

Did you happen to see his band's brilliant version of "Let It Go" with Idina Menzel? Or his question/answer segment with Audra as Billie Holiday -- singing responses a la Lady Day? Hilarious!
