I adore this show and have long kept my LP in perfect shape, only playing a now-defunct cassette. The last CD version was so gawd-awful it sounded like there was carpet over the mikes and I couldn't believe anyone had the gall to release it, but it had all that bonus material.

Is it likely that there will be a CD release of this? Or should I spring for the download? Will FLAC play on any CD player?

BTW, we did a production in San Diego in the early 80s with local boy Brian (then-without-the-Stokes) Mitchell in the lead, and got picketed by local feminist groups!

I think it's unlikely that a CD release will happen. Original Cast has been releasing a lot of digitals recently.

Hadn't listened to the scraps on the OC site until just now. They are all in mono, not stereo. Am I going to shell out $ for a download that shows up in compressed monaural? Or am I better off figuring out how to convert my stereo LP to digital?

Who else has had experience with this company?
