Technically it is the Original Cast Recording of the 1976 production (revival). There is no true Original Broadway Cast Recording of The Robber Bridegroom since the 1975 production only ran for 2 weeks and was not recorded. It was not uncommon during that era for record companies to label their cast albums as the Original Broadway Cast Recording when in some cases this was not exactly accurate. For example Columbia labeled their studio cast albums of Pal Joey (w/ Segal and Lang) and On the Town (w/ Walker, Comden & Green, and Alexander) as the Original Broadway Cast Recording.
