Roundabout almost did it at the Laura Pels a few years ago, I can't remember why it didn't end up happening. I think it's still on their list of potential productions should the right director and/or cast come together.

More likely it would be a good candidate for a Mufti or Musicals Tonight production. It's a quirky, entertaining show with a catchy score, but it's probably too small a show for Encores -- the '75 production had a band with only 5 musicians.
