From the company:
Oh, the (Cards Against) Humanity! That's right, people. Get ready for family game night gone terribly awry when we pair up Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya with “the party game for horrible people.” In this unique and beautifully tragic adaption, we’ll play games, enjoy practical jokes and take shots of all kinds with our favorite angsty Russians! What could be more refreshing than slinging back some chilled vodka with Three Day Hangover’s very own Drunkle Vanya?

Tickets to Drunkle Vanya are $15. They can be purchased by visiting ThreeDayHangover.com or DrunkleVanya.BrownPaperTickets.com. A full cash bar (no drink minimum!) is available throughout the event.

Performances for Drunkle Vanya will be held at 8pm on Thursday and Friday, September 4-5, and from September 9-18, 2014. There is no performance on September 14th.

Past Praise for Three Day Hangover

"During my fifth beer, ‘The Hamlet Project’ got even funnier. That’s impressive considering the show, billed as a theatrical drinking event, was already amusing during beers one through four. …the cast members’ energy is infectious.... …the show even offers insights into the text.... …Because of all those cold beers, I can’t remember every detail. But I do recall having a pretty good time." – The New York Times

"By the final scene on Monday, about 50 audience members were standing and cheering, surrounded by empty pitchers, shot glasses and cups of sangria. ...A return to the days of the groundlings. I drank along with every boozy cue, and felt quite the midsummer night’s drunk by the end." – New York Post

“Three Day Hangover is an amazing theater company of super talented actors, singers, musicians and other performing arts professionals whose innovative brilliance is bringing Shakespeare to audiences in the way it was meant to be performed: interactively, joyfully, soulfully, immersively…All is in the service of opening our eyes to a Shakespearean universe you never imagined might be possible. It is one that is exciting, accessible, hilarious and poignant; above all it is refreshing and visceral….” - BlogCritics

"…An INVENTIVE PRODUCTION of Shakespeare's play that arguably is closer to the experience that the Bard's contemporary audiences had - ROWDY, BAWDY, FUN, but still capturing the meaning and feeling and language of the text" "the ten-member cast is FIRST-RATE. …the main downside to R+J: Star-Cross'd Death is that it's scheduled to play just three more performances" - BroadwayWorld.com

“Drunken Shakespeare takes NYC by storm! The cast of The HAMLET Project is so much fun, they each give performances that are truthful and nuanced while also managing to have the audience spilling their beer in laughter. Three Day Hangover really nailed this one." – New York Theatre Review

"…this company knows how to have FUN. …Mills and Hunt capture R&J’s giddy love perfectly... their performances are youthful, exciting, unpredictable, and realistic. …none of these big-budget productions gets as fresh a take on the Bard as Three Day Hangover." – Letters from the Mezzanine
