Both "True West" and "Spelling Bee" did their best at creating a proscenium experience. There may well have been others - "Metamorphosis"? I didn't see that one. Obviously, the resulting stage is fairly shallow, but the presentation style can hew closely to that of a proscenium. "Spelling Bee" did a few things elsewhere in the theatre, while "True West" (unless I am misremembering) was purely on the stage. This is a far cry from the usual three quarters at CitS, which is more like a transverse staging with an audience at an additional end.
