let's see... what role might she be going into? Catherine? She's a bit long in the tooth. Pippin? non-traditional sure, but doubtful. gosh.. what could it be?

Well, I'm sure you're unstated assumption is correct. But it isn't inconceivable that the same producers who cast her as Roxie Hart just a few years ago would put her in as Fastrada. Who knows if she wants to play the grandmother yet? Her real-life daughter is playing the Pippin-aged lead in a big new movie. Ya never know.
