It wasn't added for the Ann Margaret tour, the Emily Skinner Broadway concert or the recent regional production I saw. Bus from Amarillo is a better song for the character and show anyway.

Totally agreed. I hope they leave the show as is. Besides, the association of the song has since changed to Whitney Houston's version, and I think putting it in the show would just take the audience out of the moment, and have more of a "jukebox" effect.

If The Bodyguard comes in we'd potentially have that song playing in two shows at the same time.
