I saw Rocky twice and really liked it both times. And I had a great audience both times too. They reacted to all the songs and seemed very enthusiastic about the storyline. I had a great seat the first time, Row H on the right aisle but it wasn't great for the fight scene. I couldn't see all the movement because the stagehands were sometimes in the way and I was too close to the ring. The second time I went through TDF. I was in Row S which was fine but for the second act I moved to Row N on the aisle and had a perfect view of the fight. It did look like they were hitting each other. I assume Andy Karl has recovered from his injury? I agree with your assessment of NPH. He's very entertaining and I loved his energy. But the show was also very much on the surface for me. I actually got more emotionally involved watching the film. I'm hoping Rannells does the part in a slightly different way though director Mayer may encourage him to play the part big and funny.
