Andy Karl had what looked like a fading bruise on his right forearm. It was difficult to tell whether it was makeup or from the injury. In any event, I think he did a great job both times. He's another one who impressed me a lot more in this show than in other shows I've seen him in.

I sat in Row E, very close to the ring. As far as the side rows go, I think that's as far back as you can go without having the cornermen start to block the view. There was a minimal amount of blocking from my perspective. The first time, I had a head-on view and it was clear from that angle that the actors weren't hitting each other.

I think Andrew Rannells is potentially a better actor than NPH, but as you say, it depends a bit on what the director wants.
