Hedwig original off-broadway question

I finally got around to watching the TIMES TALK sit down with NPH, JCM and Stephen Trask which was great. Question: When JCM left the off-broadway production, did Stephen Trask or did he stay with it? I know Miriam Shor left eventually but not sure when. Anyone remember? Interesting since I have been pro JCM performing the show again to hear him say playing Hedwig nearly killed him and he gave up acting after the run.
