I too have never heard of her, but I don't own a tv and have never seen "Girls" so it's jot surprising to me.

I thought I read the greatest challenge with casting is hiring someone who can fully commit from August to December, and since this project just got the green light earlier this year, perhaps a lot of more well-known celebrities were already booked for other gigs.

I'm still bummed they didn't buck tradition and hire a male.
