Two questions about San Diego Theater

1) Have there been any cast announcements, or even rumblings, about The Hunchback of Notre Dame? I loved the movie and found it wildly underrated. I'm so excited to see it. 2) How are the shows at San Diego Musical Theatre? My dad has been wanting to see Next to Normal and I read that it's playing there with two cast members from the terrific La Mirada production. I suspect that a good sign but confirmation would be nice before I send him on a two hour drive. Thanks.
