I haven't heard of anyone else in the entertainment industry expressing desire to turn OOTI into a film. Perhaps I've missed it though. Some interest is better than no interest, right? Sure, if Beyonce and Alexander each wanted to make the film, the latter wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hello. But since no one else is tearing down doors to get the show on film, why is Alexander such a roadblock? He has already produced a major motion picture with Agent Cody Banks and a few others. He did the festival circuit with Just Looking and helped secure a distributor for it. So he has experience getting studio and indie films made. Like the stage version, OOTI doesn't need to be a large scale production. If Alexander wanted to do the film in the next few years, you don't think that at the very least, he has connections to raise the funds, get it filmed and accepted into a film festival with the hope of securing a distributor? Could you explain how the film has a better chance of being made without Alexander's involvement? I'm really curious how you came to this conclusion.
