Barrie's PETER PAN has gone through more revisions and versions than Offenbach's HOFFMANN. But in his edition of the novel, he added an "afterthought" where he states that Peter continued to come and lay claim to Wendy's descendants "as long as children are innocent and heartless".

Figure that one out, Disney.
