It's certainly a tribute to Benedict's star power that this show is selling out in presales. Cf. Martin Freeman's Richard III (which didn't get great reviews, except for Freeman's performance) and Richard Armitage in The Crucible (which has gotten raves), both currently running in the West End, neither of which to my knowledge are selling out.
