Aw, too bad. My memory of Petra was that she was terrific, but then my memory of the whole show was terrific.

I liked the show better than you did (partly because I was 12, mostly because it was A Chorus Line, and it was my first big Broadway show in any setting). My sister and I sang the score throughout the rest of our European vacation (would I had such recall nowadays!)

Now I write musicals and run a theatre company of my own ... but I owe it all to being dazzled in 1977 and saying yes, that's my path!
