I think that's a very good point. And while we might question what good has come of Macintosh or Disney's riches, in addition to the weisslers, we can certainly trace money from wicked, rent, jersey boys etc to a bunch of shows, at least some of which are unlikely to have been produced had those long running shows not made their producers very rich.
