Carrie Underwood was the draw for me...not another version of Sound of Music...As it stands now, I will peek in to see what it looks like but I'm pretty sure I won't be sticking with 2 or 3 hours. There really is no lure for me with Peter Pan. You know what? It's a classic Broadway musical being presented live on TV. That, given the state of the arts in this country in general, is enough for us all to support it. You say "ANOTHER version of The Sound Of Music" as if they do this all the time. I'm actually quite amazed that they're doing a 2nd musical at all. We should be supportive of the project, so that they keep doing it and that hopefully the quality of the endeavor keeps improving. We can carp about the cast, the direction, whatever - but we really should be thankful that someone is willing to do these productions...even if the specific shows aren't personal favorites. (For the record, I've always loved Peter Pan, even though I too feel there are shortcomings in the show.)
