I think Streisand's "Love is Only Love" is simple and quite lovely. One of Herman's prettiest songs. A bit wistful, a bit cynical. I have always wondered how it worked with Lansbury, when she sang it close to the fox hunt in "Mame." It's a nice sentiment for Mame Dennis, but probably did weigh down that show's first act.
