I just scanned through the photos they had on Playbill of Ms. Bacall. What a stunning woman. She looked virtually the same age from the time she did CACTUS FLOWER to her final B'way bow in WAITING IN THE WINGS. Gorgeous. RIP.

Wasn't that party because she was an old-looking 41?

Your point is taken that she was a good-looking 75 in WAITING FOR THE WINGS, but if you're saying she looked the same in CACTUS FLOWER, isn't that partly because she lost her stunningly gorgeous youthful beauty pretty early in the scheme of things, and already looked like a middle-aged woman at 41 in CACTUS FLOWER? (A beautiful middle-aged woman, sure - but there are other beauties you have still looked like young women at 41.)

I basically agree but remember that the character in CACTUS FLOWER is NOT supposed to be a beauty(even when played by someone as phenomenally beautiful as Ingrid Bergman)or even a young woman.
I saw her in CACTUS FLOWER and was always surprised that, starring in this long-running hit, it didn't seem to do anything for her career.

That's unnecessarily cruel. I cannot believe you just said that. I wouldn't wish death on ANYONE (I see life as a gift) and Ms. Moore's life has been filled up with doing GOOD.
