What a get for Pace. Everyone I know who has studied voice with Vicky Clark absolutely raves about her... she's the kind of teacher who forms those kinds of bonds that can really transform your entire way of seeing yourself.

A rare gem.

I decided to pull out PIAZZA for kicks, and I'm just struck by how few leading roles are written for a woman with the kind of voice type you find in Ms. Clark. How many musicals have we got that call for a rangy mezzo soprano over 40 in the lead?

(I suppose INTO THE WOODS? Kinda? Although the legit demands of the Witch really aren't that tough.)

Any other musicals you can think of? I'd love to see Ms. Clark back on Broadway when her stint at Pace is done!
