Hey, I'm one of those who saw Patinkin sing "Liaisons" - and those of us who saw it will certainly never forget it.

But on second thought, he's probably btter suited to playing Hermione Gingold.

My mind is reeling from the thought of Liza and Mandy together in something. Are they not THE two most mannered performers?

would probably throw her hat into the ring.
Actually, I can't imagine a show I would be less interested in seeing than a stage or film bio of Ms. Minnelli.

I dunno... she really doesn't have the unique beauty of young Liza or the glamour or pizzazz. Very talented though she may be.

she does a pretty mean-spirited "impression" of Liza on a demo "reel" she put together when she unsuccessfully auditioned for Saturday Night Live - she also tried out for "The Boy From Oz"
