Thank you for sharing that. It's possible that we've all crossed our conversation points - I thought that the pun in question referred to "The Nether", rather than "Chimerica".

I quite like the title to "Chimerica" - for me, it's the most interesting part of the show, at least until Claudie Blakley's monologue in the second act. Overall, though, the show views China through too much of a Western prism - the China on display is not the one that I have seen, but nearer to the China that Mike Daisy talks about in "The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs".

As for "Chimerica", the American accents were mostly good. The Mandarin accents less so.
