I saw Rabe's other two plays in the Vietnam trilogy, but missed "Sticks and Bones."

But, I am confused as to why 150 to 200 people would walk out of a play about a Vietnam veteran. The only explanation I can think off is that people knew far less about PTSS then.

"The Basic Training of Pablo Hummel" and "Streamers" were less violent than what you describe. I thought "Streamers" was more accurate about the military and war than Pablo Hummel. So now I am really interested to finally see "Sticks and Bones."
