When I ushered at the Atlanta Civic Center in the early '70s, I got to see Lauren Bacall in Applause eight times. She was phenomenal! National Tour had several cast members from the original Broadway cast. Loved this production very much! I've got all the memorabilia from this show. (Will the critically acclaimed TV version that aired twice ever be released on DVD? I'm surprised this hasn't happened). I saw Lauren Bacall in Woman of the Year when it played the Kennedy Center. National Tour had most of the original Broadway cast. Fun show! Thanks for sharing, Richard. Great memories!
