With all due respect to Mr. Williams, as the announcement itself basically acknowledges, his Broadway career does not merit this tribute. Let him be honored in all the appropriate venues. This dimming of Broadway theater lights should not be applied to everyone, no matter how big a star, or it loses all its meaning.
