There's no harm, but Bacall had a much stronger presence in the theater. She won two Tony Awards for two hit shows plus another of her shows, "Cactus Flower" was also a big hit. I think she was equally famous for her stage work as she was for her films.

Bacall's film work was mostly in the early part or her career. From the 1960's on she was a Broadway star and did star in many Hit shows. Plus she also sold coffee on TV :)
