PARADE in White Plains

I just wanted to let people know that I managed a field trip to White Plains last weekend to catch the White Plains Performing Arts Center's production of PARADE, which ran for 3 performances only last weekend. And it was terrific! Well directed and choreographed throughout and the two leads were absolutely fantastic. There was really not a weak link in the large cast. If this production is of the general caliber of work at this company, it's well worth the trip to Westchester County. The theatre itself is about a 10 minute walk from the station (cabs are available as well), located in a shopping center in downtown White Plains. There's no signage outside and you'd never know it was there if you weren't specifically looking for it. And it's a really nice theatre space with extremely comfortable seats and plenty of legroom. Just to be clear, I have no connection with the theatre or the show, except that a friend was in the cast (which is what motivated me to go). I wanted to call attention to it because I was previously unfamiliar with this company and wanted to encourage people to give them a shot. It's not really that far.
