Robin Williams and Lauren Bacall shared Broadway Credit

IBDB lists a 1979 credit for Robin and Lauren called VIP Night on Broadway. It is listed as a Benefit conceived by Phyllis Newman and directed by Pat Birch. Great cast (Lucie Arnaz, Angela Lansbury, Kevin Kline to name a few) but not much other info.

Do any of you know what cause it was a benefit for?

It is all so depressing, this double hit. Women over 85 almost never make it one year after a stroke, so I suppose that is the one consolation. Ugh.
