Also, the few times I've gone the past couple of years, I've noticed the audience is predominantly now college-student age. (Their website mentions they sell $10 student tickets to all their shows). While a noble cause, it hardly can keep a theater company open. They may want to limit the student tickets per performance. Remaining tickets can instead be allocated to TKTS, TDF, discount half-price sites like playbill.com and papering for the rest. (Other theater companies seem to be selling a TON of $10 and $20 more frequently too. I'd like to see how their financials are.)

That would be awesome. Student circle of friends is probably more $10 student potential patrons, perpetuating the cycle! OTOH, a lot of formerly papered companies are going the $10-$20 route, which inconveniences me.
