A clumsy, disjointed play, with one dimensional characters (save for the male lead), this made for a long, uninvolving night of theatre. I couldn't help but think that had it been written by "Joe Playwright" instead of Neil LaBute, it never would have made it out of the Geffen's slush pile. The lead, Sean Hatosy, worked very hard, but "Reasons" was pretty close to a complete waste of time.
