I always want him to be good and instead he's just, IMHO, mediocre. Not UN-talented, but worse, boring. He doesn't have that special something. He's like a good chorus boy who is aging now. I hope he turns it around in Wonderful Town.

Actually, I thought he was the best Tulsa I've seen--and I saw Lansbury, Daly, Buckley, and LuPone "Gypsies."

I thought Yazbek was quite fine as Gabey when Encores did On the Town.

I saw him in Me and My Girl at Goodspeed and I liked his dancing a lot. Though I was pretty close to the stage and I could feel him sweating. He was more the center of attention.

I think he's right for On the Town and he doesn't carry the show on his shoulders.
