"Mickey, the Burgess Meredith role, is played by an untalented hack" Dakin Matthews is miscast as Mickey, but he's the opposite of an untalented hack. He's a formidable actor, director, writer, and former artistic director. That doesn't mean he's good here. But he's flush with talent and dedication.
