I loathed and despised the movie. The main characters were irritating, the songs all sounded the same...like chalk on a board...the word dreary doesn't even describe this movie.
I went for all the acclaim and just plain hated it.

I hate it even more because it has prevented me from seeing the stage play which I am told is wonderful. I can't do it.
ONCE was playing in San Francisco this past July. I just couldn't.
I can't even see BEGIN AGAIN because the director of ONCE did it.

I know I should seek therapy but it's not that big a deal. I'll save it for bigger things.....like not getting a premium seat to AN AMERICAN IN PARIS when it comes to broadway

You are not alone....just to a lesser degree of loathing.
