Funny, but I felt the exact opposite re: FLOYD COLLINS. Thought it was terribly sung and a lot of the staging was awkward. Couldn't wait to get out of that theater. I thought the West Coast Ensemble production was much better.

I saw CARRIE's off-Bway revival and I wasn't too impressed. I have to agree with Kimmel that it is no classic--the score is very rooted musically in the '80s. Still, I'll probably see this because it sounds interesting. I did not see that production of PARADE but I heard great things about it.
