Howard Miller takes a look at Culture Shock 1911-1922:

No one should go into an evening of German expressionist plays expecting a light and airy time of it. But if you do have any interest in early twentieth century works by the likes of Kafka and other writers of intellectually challenging and visceral plays that are scarily nihilistic, let me recommend that you pay a visit to the Horizon Theatre Rep’s production of Culture Shock 1911-1922 at the Access Theater. . . .
