I agree with all of the above comments. It feels particularly unfair in light of how recently they dimmed the lights for Robin Williams who only had a single broadway acting credit (even though it was more recent, and, yes, he had his comedy act on B'Way before that). Joan was both a writer of Broadway material (twice) and an actress who, like Williams, was Tony nominated. She also lent her celebrity to many opening nights and truly was a presence in the Broadway community. I hope they reconsider.
