No one has deprived any of the theatre owners or anyone at the League any of their rights. Most of the posters on this board are regular theatre patrons, which make them loyal customers. The Broadway theatre owners/League made a decision that its loyal customers disagreed with. The customers spoke out. As with other for-profit businesses, the public response has triggered a change, at least in the case of one theatre owner. The outcry/change neither impacts the owners nor the League's rights to decide who to honor, who to mourn, and who to ignore. All that happened was that a theatre owner decided not to ignore their loyal customers, and to honor Ms. Rivers.
