I'm not sure what good there is in reducing these people to one role. I mean, if you think Robin Williams is most remembered for playing Mork on a tv show in the 70s, you're pretty out of touch. So I find your statement rude and unnecessarily dismissive. Not to mention that these people all performed on Broadway. But in another way, I agree. I think if it's going to be limited fairly it probably should be exclusively for people who were people of the theater, who were known mostly or primarily for their theater work (like Audra McDonald or Michael Cerveris), or if not, who always worked in the theater regardless of success in other mediums that might make them known to the world primarily for that work (like Angela Lansbury or Philip Seymour Hoffman), because no one should be looked down on for finding success or having interest in other mediums. That puts someone like Denzel Washington in a weird space since he is a multiple Tony nominee with a number of big productions, but I guess at this point he might qualify. Anyway, I don't make the rules anyway.
