I am curious to whose detriment it is businesswise if the public does not like what they do. Will someone skip seeing the next show they are dying to see because of it? I think not. I very much agree with what Shadowlight said below-if the Shuberts (and it is obvious that's who we are talking about here) are forced to dim, where is the honor in that? We have managed to cheapen just about everything about this undertaking by this unseemly whining.
