I love ITW, and have seen 5 or 6 productions over the years. But I sure don't care for the look of this OSF version -- based on the videos on the OSF website. I'll skip this production.

I saw Act I of it on Saturday, 9/6. There was a major forest fire in Northern California on that day and the smoke drifted into Oregon. As the show is performed in an amphitheatre, the festival (or some other entity) deemed the air quality too poor to continue with the show. Fortunately, I know how it all turns out. :) You sort of get a "complete show" with Act I anyway.

That is interesting. I remember this happen to us several years ago with "As You Like It". However this was a heavy rain storm and every one on stage was slipping and sliding on their butts. They had to call a halt to the production.

We received the press release today and the full press release will be up on THEATRE NEWS on Sunday plus other information of upcoming OSF productions that will be playing elsewhere.
