I truly am not proud of having hastily posted my sloppy title above. Not a proud moment, not at all.

As far as the drama around dimming the lights in honor of Joan Rivers' passing, I'm honestly more interested in the push-back of the community against the League's decision, on behalf of a celebrity many have strong feelings about. I would say that it's surprising that among all of the signifiers in the world around us, these developments are so powerfully driving your assessment of us humans as pathetic.
