well clearly by the outpouring of support there is NOTHING meaningless about this

who gives a rat's behind about the theater owners?
the community has been heard

and talk about NOT meaningless?
i have never been as proud of the theater community as i have in the last 36 hours.

You're right. The bravery that people have displayed in standing up to an aggressor like Charlotte St. Martin and the disrespect she showed to each and every one of us sitting in our kitchens huddled over our laptops is inspiring! I am starting an online campaign for the American Theatre Wing to bestow a Special Tony to those of us who passionately, valiantly fought the good fight and gave of ourselves at ATC. And if they don't give us the award we demand, watch out Theatre Wing: there will be hell to pay.

Like Glenn Close's Alex says in FATAL ATTRACTION: " I will NOT be ignored."

really? this trumps broadway cares equity fights aids and the contributions made by broadway folks for marriage equality? how 'bout audra's fundraiser for obama during the first campaign?

some theaters are dimming their lights for a few seconds.
